<p> Peter Lehmann was called him the ‘Baron of the Barossa’ and he helped put the area on the international wine map with his barn-storming Shiraz. He was also the son of a Lutheran Pastor, hence the name. </p> <p> James Halliday famously said “It’s not often a person becomes a legend in their own lifetime”, thanks to Peter’s significant contribution to Australian wine as a whole. He was fond of ringing the church bells at inopportune moments, and on occasion would sneak out of church to let down the tyres of the congregation!</p> <p> Classic inky black colour with generous lashings of peppery dark plum, juicy morello cherry and chocolate with hints of classic mint. A delicious match for venison steaks and peppercorn sauce. </p>
