In early 2010, Bob and Marilyn Fowler, seeking out a quiet rural life and perhaps a little adventure (their motto is “Truth without fear”) purchased the former West Cape Howe winery. The rest, as they say, is history. They are committed custodians of the land they own, and great advocates for the Great Southern wine region. Halliday rates their winery 5 Red Stars: an “outstanding winery producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity”. <i> “This wasn’t bottled until Jan ‘15, an exceptionally long time for any wine, let alone one at this price.
