It’s wine like this…

made using fruit from premium sites throughout the region that make South Australia a first choice destination for lovers of big, generously rich and velvety Aussie reds – consider it the state’s great gift to the wine world, not just at home but all over the world.

The label?

It’s a famous red river gum - one of the most admired trees in our landscape. The biggest tree in the state (and the national champion of red river gums) is called Old Emu Foot, in Melrose.

And the taste…

Shows distinctive characters of black fruit, eucalypt and spice, smoothed out by delicious dark chocolate and a touch of smoky oak.

The term 'Wayfaring' means 'to travel', while 'Catador' means 'taster' in Spanish. Bring these together and you get a rough definition of what our wine buyers do each vintage – discover the best wines from the best regions to bring you a stunning final product.

The eye catching label depicts South Australia's state flower. Sturt's Desert Pea. The wines in the Way & Cat range from other regions also feature local flora – a nice touch!

Pinot Grigio is what the Italians call Pinot Gris – they are the same thing – but in Italy it is used to produce crisp, easy drinking dry wines with bags of fresh fruit flavour.
