The Black Pig Shiraz

16 Little Black Pigs

Shiraz 2020
Country: Australia

A pig called Shirley? Or Tanuki?

For years, we’ve been telling loyal Virgin customers that the Black Pig range was named after a character-filled McLaren Vale pig called Shirley. Recently, a source told us that the pig was not called Shirley at all. And she was actually a he!

We’re not sure why…

Shirley became legendary when Tanuki deserved all the fame, but we’re putting it right now. So...

The 16 Little Black Pigs label…

is named after the progeny of Tanuki, the original Black Pig (what a stud!) and showcases AMAZING wines from regions around the countryside. This one shows all the big flavours South Australian Shiraz is famous for - it’s terrific.
