The Black Pig Shiraz

16 Little Black Pigs

Shiraz 2021
Country: Australia
Region: South Australia

Rock star treatment!

The Black Pig was our first superstar wine, and the 16 Little Black Pig range is from the same family. In fact, those piglets you see on the label? They’re the babies from Tanuki, the orignal real life black pig. The grapes always receive the royal treatment – from vineyard to bottle.

A Mecca for wine making...

McLaren Vale’s Mediterranean climate is superb for growing wonderful, ripe fruit. Here it has produced a silky, layered Shiraz showing sweet bramble flavours.

Hungry?

This is one little piggy that you can drink and enjoy on its own. Or it will be equally as good with food if you’re hungry! We suggest burgers or a steak sandwich.

Palacio del Conde Gran Reserva

Palacio del Conde

Gran Reserva 2014

Semillon 2021
Country: Australia
Region: South Australia

Get ready for…

A gorgeously vibrant and crisp Semillon, soaring with bright fruit.

Solo act:

You may be more familiar with Semillon as a blending partner with Sauvignon Blanc (the famous SSBs we all know and love!) but Semillon is also a wonderful variety all on its own. When young and unoaked, as it is here, it’s crisp and vibrant. If it’s aged or given oak treatment, it’s richer and more sumptuous.

This deliciously bright and joyful white exhibits lively lemony flavours against a backdrop of lovely grassy notes on a lipsmacking, zesty and zingy finish. Chill it right down and serve it with something spicy. Yum!
