Discovery Club Tasting Notes

G'day! It's time to dive in and see what goodies await in your NEW Discovery Club selection...

But, before you do that allow me to introduce myself. My name is Michael; I'm your resident 'wine guy'. It's my job to ensure that the wines in each case are utterly delicious. What that means for me is a whole lot of travelling, tasting and collaboration with our talented wine team.

Together we have tasted hundreds of bottles to arrive at this mouth-watering selection. There's loads to explore, including hedonistic Shiraz from pristine McLaren Vale, fragrant Pinot crafted by a 6th generation winemaker, tongue-tingling Chardonnay from Margaret River and much more!

Each wine in your case has been created for maximum drinking pleasure, but if you don't love each wine we'll refund you. If a particular wine tickles your fancy then let us know. You can rate each wine online - It's a great way to tell your fellow customers what's hot and a great way for us to keep the quality high.

I hope you enjoy these wines as much as I enjoyed choosing them.

Cheers,
Michael Anderson (The Wine Guy)

PS. Keep an eye out for Palacio del Conde. The silky, mellowed red fruit and spice tones captured my taste buds making it my top tip this selection.

The Wine Guy

"Keep an eye out for the silky, charming Mr. Noir Pinot Noir from South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula. Look forward to sweet strawberry, cherry and subtle spice that will dance across your palate."

Everyone has different wine tastes… for every 100 die-hard Cabernet fans out there, there are a few don't see what all the fuss is about. They might rather a glass of fragrant Pinot. There will be others who love both, depending on their mood, the season and the occasion. That's what makes wine great – it's all a matter of personal taste.

If we could ask a few quick questions about the wines you like (and don't like), we'd be able to recommend wines and build cases that are perfect for you, your taste buds and budget! If you love big, rich South Australian reds then we'll ensure that's what you get. Got a thing for mouthwatering Italian whites? We need to know. Don't like Sauvignon Blanc? We'll never send you one.
