Wine Summary
The Limestone Coast was under the sea for over 25 million years. Fast-forward one million years, the region rose out of the sea and fossils helped form the prized red soils (‘terra rossa’) for which the Limestone Coast is famous. The region also enjoys a cool climate and is blessed with a long growing season, which enhances the fruit’s aromatics and elegance. It also has a healthy water table underneath the soil, which reduces the need for irrigation. This delicious red offers stacks of ripe, sweet fruit on the nose and palate, with a chocolate-rich mouthfeel and spicy persistence.
