Wine Summary
Schild Estate was established over 60 years ago, when Ben and Alma Schild bought land and a small vineyard in Rowland Flat in the southern part of the Barossa Valley. Ed Schild, the youngest son of Ben and Alma, has since grown the Schild holdings to over 450 acres of prime Barossa vineyards. This wine is inky black, incredibly intense, with a good dose of charry oak and a powerfully rich, luscious, long finish. Show judges have given it a Double Gold, 92 & 93 points. Huon Hooke calls the previous vintage “a generous, lush, hedonistic wine” . Try it for yourself - it's magnificent.
