South Australia’s beautiful Clare Valley is home to some very rich reds, equal in size and complexity to those from nearby Barossa and McLaren Vale. Particularly the inky rich Shiraz, as you’ll taste in this delicious blend. Merlot is not as well-known as Clare Shiraz or Cabernet, though its plush and velvety richness has been a key player in many of the region’s blends. But just last year, a Taylors Clare Valley Merlot took out the Best of Show Australia award at Mundus Vini in Germany – so big things are happening for Clare Merlot too. The combination here is truly delicious. Enjoy!
