Wine Summary
Pertaringa is a tiny estate tucked away in McLaren Vale, owned by 'wine royalty' Geoff Hardy. Before McLaren Vale reds became famous in their own right, the region’s rich, flavoursome fruit used to be drafted into big name, big flavoured wines without necessarily revealing its origins… a sort of ‘undercover’ role. In a neat reversal, Geoff’s ‘Undercover” Shiraz proudly displays its McLaren Vale lineage. In true McLaren Vale Shiraz style, this is a big, rich, chocolatey red with layers of flavour and a rich texture … get out the big glasses for this one!
