It's a Grenache blend, but with a twist. The Mataro (or Mourvedre) and Shiraz components have been jumbled up and switched around to produce a fruity red with stacks of drinkability, but with an added earthy undercurrent that makes the wine feel a little more old-worldy. The complexity is superb.
