Il Sogno is an exceptional Pinot Grigio from the Veneto, awarded a Gold, plus 97 and 96 points in the last trio of vintages. This bright, fresh white is from a family estate located close to Veneto's prized Lugana. Founded in 1971 by Walter Delibori and Giorgio Cristoforetti, the company is still run by the two families. To make this appetising white, the winemaker sourced fruit from vineyards planted on the well drained, morainic soils of the mountain foothills overlooking Lake Garda. Long, sunny days and the cooling influence of the lake and mountains give the grapes more time to ripen. The result is a wine bursting with fruit, while retaining plenty of freshness. A tasty aperitif, and an ideal match for salads, risotto and seafood.
