Here's an occasion worth celebrating - the 20th vintage of La Cantera Reserva. This reassuringly smooth, welcoming red has graced UK glasses for two decades, so winemaker Javier Domeque is saying thanks with this luxury blend of old-vine Garnacha and satin smooth Tempranillo. Javier works under the radar in Cariñena - wine has been made there for 2,000 years, but the region is frequently overlooked in favour of world famous neighbour Rioja. So here you can enjoy absolutely superb value for money (and in the case of La Cantera, Rioja style quality). Javier only likes to ship his wines when they're matured to mellow perfection and ready to drink - what you have here. Soft and rounded, it's a great red to enjoy without food, or with tapas.
