Some of Australia’s finest and most expensive white wines come from the Adelaide Hills. Indeed, it’s <i> “absolutely stuffed to the gills with winemaking royalty”</i> (Max Allen, Crush). The cool growing conditions of the Adelaide Hills provide fruit of exceptional depth with great natural acidity. This in turn provides elegant, beautifully balanced wines with great structure. There’s no mistaking the quality. It’s obviously a sensational match to a fine piece of barbecued tuna. Aromatic citrus, gooseberry, and herbal aromas with a mouthwateringly crisp, pure palate. There’s a little bit of texture there as well.
