Wine Summary
Printhie estate produces wine with serious attitude (from serious altitudes – the winegrowing areas in Orange range between 600m and 1200m above sea level). The estate is owned by the Swift family (hence the soaring swift on the label). The wines are made by Drew Tuckwell, who has been making wine for Printhie for over 20 years. “This is delicious gris... Pear gelati, honeydew, jasmine and pink lady apple notes skirt along a gentle phenolic rail of support, line and direction. Textural intrigue and sappy length...93pts” (Halliday).
