Classic blackcurrant and cassis flavours are framed by fine, elegant tannins. Cedar cigar box notes and spice linger in the background on the way to a long finish. His Tempranillo is a richly appointed, beautifully complex drop which will impress with its many layers of flavour. It's brilliant with roast lamb.
With this deliciously inky drop, the warm afternoon sun and cooling sea breezes of McLaren Vale prove an ideal climate for this traditional Italian varietal. Notes of crushed dark cherry, forest berries, bay leaf and plum with a liquorice overlay and hints of dried herb give way to a medium length and firm tannins.
