Wine Summary
The original black pig was named Tanuki. He was a cheeky little pork chop. So loved was he by his winemaking owner, it was only right we honoured this special pig with a wine of his own. Produced from hand-selected fruit from top McLaren Vale vineyards, The Black Pig Shiraz leaps from the glass with sumptuous, rich and ripe blackcurrant tones and vanilla snippets. Oozing lashings of cedar, ripe berries and hints of chocolate this stunning Gold-winning Shiraz is the kind of wine that can drink now with ease, or be laid down for another 8 or so years. Shiraz drinking perfection.

Wine Summary
For the Marauding Vintners, wine is not a commodity! For these guys, it’s where art and nature merge in an expression of people, place and time. They know where real wine is found, often well off the beaten track, and they devote time to tracking down the genuine characters. Meet the distinguished, enigmatic Mr. Noir. Despite rumours of a noble French background, you detect no trace of an accent nowadays. Once, mystery hung about him. A solitary, often elusive presence, held in reverence by a fiercely devoted band of followers. Their loyalty remains, their numbers have grown, but Mr. Noir now moves freely from place to place. Though still a singular character, the haunting mystique has evolved into bright charm, evident class – and the alluring ability to light up any room and occasion.

Wine Summary
A family owned and operated winery in Western Australia's glorious Margaret River. Established in 2000, Knee Deep has an enviable reputation for crafting serious quality wines, but without the hefty price tags of some of their 'elite' neighbours. The ancient terroir, pure ocean breezes, and warm mild climate produce vintages of balance, complexity and quality, as clearly demonstrated in this juicy and admirable Sauvignon Blanc. Vibrant aromas of honeysuckle and mandarin before a palate of honeydew, citrus blossom and white peach flavours. A small portion was vinified in French oak, and then left of lees for 5 months. The result? A creamy texture with hints of cashew, superbly balanced by a fine acid line drawing the wine through to a long, flavoursome finish. "… bright, vibrant and fresh... 91pts" (Erin Larkin, Halliday Wine Companion).

This cracking drop is the second ever release of this brilliant white and blends together a delicious array of varieties… vibrant and toasty South Australian Chardonnay, aromatic Viognier, grassy Sauvignon, and a touch of tropical fruit-rich Verdelho… to make a truly lipsmacking delight. Last year's vintage won Gold at the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge, with the wine judges writing, "Light golden yellow colour. Pleasant nose combining white fruit, hints of apricot, toast and aromatic herbs. The palate is well-defined, fleshy, rich and invigorating, opening with lime and exuberant, persistent aromas. No shortage of character." More importantly, it's a winner with fish and chips.

Wine Summary
The Angaston Road Growers range is all about honouring the often unsung heroes of the wine world, the growers. It is their intimate knowledge of the local terroir, the changes of season, and the varietals they tend to that ensure the special parcels of fruit that make it to the winery are in tip-top form to make quality wines like this stunning Sauvignon Blanc. The wine recognises Rae Clark, a proud vigneron who has been working in the wine industry for around 30 years. She is a passionate advocate for improving biodiversity through sustainable vineyard practices in her home region of Coonawarra. And when it came to finding the best selection of Sauvignon Blanc for this new wine, the winemakers knew instantly to reach out to Rae. Aromas of passionfruit, pineapple and other tropical delights leap from the glass, backed up by a palate of spritely guava and gooseberry with a lively citrus finish.

Situated on a unique rocky outcrop the estate commands an easterly aspect 500-550m high over Eden Valley. On release the wine is pale straw in colour. It displays classic Chardonnay characters of peach, nectarine and fresh figs. French oak barrel fermentation and maturation gives the wine secondary aromas of cashew nuts and mixed spices. The palate has a complex mix of peach, citrus, cashew nuts, subtle truffle and spice characters throughout.

Wine Summary
The Heartland story began in the late 1990s when winemaker Ben Glaetzer became excited about the outstanding quality of fruit being grown in some of South Australia’s lesser-known regions, in particular Langhorne Creek. Together with industry veterans, Scott Collett, Grant Tilbrook and more recently Nick Keukenmeester, they grew Heartland into an award-winning winery. In their velvety 93pt Heart & Soil Shiraz, a depth of black forest fruit and cassis is framed by the vanilla and Christmas spices of judiciously used French and American oak. Expect soft tannins and a lingering finish. "Richly fruited and instantly appealing, the wine shows blackberry, vanilla, mixed spice and toasted nut aromas, followed by a generously expressed palate offering succulent fruit flavours with silky texture and fine-grained tannins. Plump and velvety, making it highly enjoyable... 93pts" (Sam Kim, Wine Orbit).

Wine Summary
The Sandpiper range is named after the migratory bird which visits the Thorn Clarke vineyards annually from the northern hemisphere - something of a reminder of the tenacity and commitment which is required for long term viticulture. Expect classic Cabernet characters of blackcurrant, plums and a hint of tomato leaf and driven by blackberry, satsuma plums and anise. The tannins are fine yet firm and there is a powerful fruit density. Truly 2019 will sit alongside the greatest vintages the Barossa has seen this century.

Wine Summary
The Adaptaur is a tropically-adapted Bos taurus beef cattle breed which was developed in Australia in the 1950s from crosses between Herefords and Shorthorns. Like the bull, the Adaptaur Reserve Durif is the perfect example of careful selection, hailing from selected vineyards in South Australia. The result is a wine that has intensity, decadent and dark with rich flavours of plum and spicy black fruit. Earthy tannins are well balance. An obvious food wine that would do well with the heartiest beef meals.
