The Angaston Road Growers range is all about honouring the often unsung heroes of the wine world, the growers. It is their intimate knowledge of the local terroir, the changes of season, and the varietals they tend to that ensure the special parcels of fruit that make it to the winery are in tip-top form to make quality wines like this vibrantly pink Rosé. The wine recognises Darren Heidenreich of Possum Creek Vineyards in Angaston, Barossa Valley. And when it came to finding the best selection of Shiraz grapes for this new Rosé, the Angaston Road winemakers knew instantly to reach out to Darren. The single vineyard fruit is crushed and soaked on skins for two hours to extract a lovely pink colour. It's lightly pressed, cold settled and fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain fresh aromas and flavours throughout. Enjoy a fruity nose of strawberry and orange, while flavours of mixed berries, lightly spiced red cherry and zingy citrus burst in your mouth. Grown, crafted and bottled in the Barossa using local glass, capsules and 100% recycled paper labels. Vegan friendly.

This is quite simply the best-value pink in our range. It’s a classic from Navarra, a region famed for its juicy summer-berry rosados and first choice for Spanish wine lovers. The winery lies up in the hills, so the climate is a little cooler with a serious drop in temperature at night. This increases the time it takes for grapes to ripen - the result is even greater aroma and intense flavours in your glass. Plus, that refreshing zip you want from a pink. It’s made from premium Garnacha grapes, the most important variety for rosado in this region. In charge is Gonzalo Zelayeta, who ensures picking at just the right moment for ripeness and crispness. With bright berry fruit and lemony zip, this pink is perfect solo, with tapas or seafood.

Inland from Venice, the high-altitude Adige Valley is home to some of the best quality Pinot Grigio in Italy – healthy, ripe grapes with light pink skins and terrific aromatic freshness make for elegant rosato. Il Pino is made by Giorgia Brugnara, winemaker at the 150-year-old Concilio winery, and there’s nothing she doesn’t know about local speciality Pinot Grigio. Her classic rosato is just the sort of wine chic Italians choose to drink in the lakeside bars and restaurants. 2022 has proved a top vintage in many parts of Italy. The crispness is all there in Veneto whites and rosés, along with an appealing berry-filled aroma and flavour. Their aim is to “craft small batch wines of quality with bold character.” The wines are made by the legendary Ben Riggs, so that’s a creed that will be easy to live up to. Victorian Shiraz grapes, organically grown, were cool fermented in stainless steel, followed by a short period of lees stirring to give length and roundness to the palate. Shiny rose gold, the Zilzie Butterfly Kiss Rosé offers fresh summer strawberries with a delicate white floral undertone. Add a subtle hint of raspberries and a dry mineral finish and this is a fabulous wine for all occasions. Try it with a Thai beef salad, grilled lemon fish or haloumi on the barbecue with a side of basil and tomato salad.

Crafted from the plump and juicy Merlot grapes of Victoria's Upper Goulburn region, the 93pt Belitso Rosé reflects winemaker Adrian Santolini's skill in crafting pretty cool-climate wines. The grapes were lightly pressed to avoid extracting too much colour from the skins, leading to a delightfully salmon pink Rosé. The juice was fermented in stainless steel, before the wine was filtered and bottled to capture the fresh fruit flavours. Bright red berry aromas and sweet florals emerge after pouring. On the palate, savoury spice, watermelon and a tangy raspberry acidity complete this crisp, textural wine. Enjoy it over lunch with a creamy avocado and crab salad. "This is fabulously styled and fragrant on the nose with watermelon, sweet cherry, apricot and floral aromas.
