The Wine
Leconfield was set up in 1974 by Sydney Hamilton who, at 76, dreamed of creating classic Aussie wines from old vineyards. Now, “the arrival of winemaker Paul Gordon has allowed the full potential of those vineyards to be realised” (Halliday). It's a concentrated, silky rich and luscious Shiraz that needs a big glass to bring out the best of its complex, chocolatey flavours.
