A great heady aroma with rich red ripe fruits but also some hints of crushed violets and mushrooms, olives and herbs. The palate is powerful, dark, layered and textured. <br> <i>"A classically structured Coonawarra cabernet, not relying on obvious fruit, but elegant and understated in a positive way. A very cedary bouquet, with variety, region, and probably oak contributing to the effect.
