On the palate: Dark berry fruits and supple long tannins, with a savoury nip to finish. Brown earth notes and Italian herbs add complexity and structure, suggesting good ageing and food matching potential. Food match: Chargrilled lamb chops with garlic, oregano and rosemary, served with baked spuds, or tagliatelle with field mushrooms, good parmesan, served with a wild rocket, cherry tomato and pine nut salad. Winner of Trophy (Best Mediterranean Variety), Gold medal, and Best Wine of Show at the McLaren Vale Wine Show 2019! The 96pt score also saw brothers Richard and Malcolm Leask crowned Bushing Kings of the Show.
