Named after the Pike family matriarch, ‘The Merle’ is selected from the best parcels of Riesling from the family's Polish Hill River estate. They are constantly aiming for the purest expression of Polish Hill Riesling in this wine, and the 2022 vintage delivers in spades. Lifted citrus notes, vibrant florals and a brown lime focus. Juicy lime medley with pure fruit and a granny smith crunch. Elegant and concentrated with plenty of potential for cellaring. Wine critics across Australia and New Zealand are raving about The Merle Reserve. It has received 97pts from Wine Orbit's Sam Kim, "An exceptional offering...
