The Wine
Winemaker Alex Trescowthick and the team are thrilled with this second release of the 1888. The low-yielding, very high quality 2020 Barossa vintage has produced a powerfully intense and velvety Shiraz with alluring aromas of blackberry, plum and dark chocolate. Intriguing, complex and long, it really shows the quality of the concentrated old-vine fruit, and the power of this great region and variety. RedHeads are very grateful for the support of their loyal 'RedHeads' and they honour this support by featuring the names of 1888 lovers on the label.
