The Wine
This top Cabernet comes from a fifth-generation winemaking family whose ancestors planted some of the first vines in South Australia in 1837. Halliday calls Leconfield “a distinguished estate… long renowned for its Cabernet”. Winemaker Paul Gordon has elevated this undisputed classic in recent years as its award history can attest. Look for mint-edged aromas of blackcurrant, dark plum and wild herbs on a beautifully balanced palate. Pair with cured meats.
