The Wine
Thorn-Clarke is one of the largest family-owned wineries in Barossa, and as Halliday notes: “The quality of grapes retained for the Thorn-Clarke label has resulted in a succession of Trophy and Gold medal-winning wines at very competitive prices”.
“Another very good vintage for this wine, brimming with fresh and bright fruit aromas and flavours. The plum, blackberry and red berry characters are juicy and ripe with no hint of jamminess, and there’s a feeling of liveliness and buoyancy on the palate.
