Vinaceous Wines is part of the new movement of non-traditional wine producers – choosing to source grapes from the best vineyards in the
premium maritime climate wine regions of Margaret River, Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. “The wines are of seriously good quality and equally good value” says Halliday, who find this one particularly lovely: “Sweet-fruited, textural and lengthy. The word mellifluous is apt. Blackcurrant, black jelly bean and bay leaf notes fill the mouth with succulent flavour. Tannin is supple and perfectly well integrated. No hesitation. It’s lovely ... 94 pts” (Halliday).
