A lovely Chardonnay, matured in premium oak, an opulent white balancing ripe tropical fruit with buttery notes and lovely freshness. Westend is the Calabria Family estate, and we've worked with them for several decades. The Calabria team includes Emma Norbiato, who has been shortlisted for Halliday’s Winemaker of the Year. Emma has worked at Castelgiocondo in Tuscany, Penfolds and Casella, and received widespread recognition for her winemaking skills, including a ‘Winemaker of the Year’ title in 2016 at the Australian Women in Wine Awards, and being a finalist for Gourmet Travellers 2019 'Winemaker of the Year'. She is a respected wine judge and a Len Evans Tutorial Scholar. Bill Calabria has won hundreds of awards for the wines he crafts with his team at the family's cellar. Together they have produced over 40 trophy-winning wines.
