The Wine
Leconfield was set up in 1974 by Sydney Hamilton who, at 76, dreamed of creating classic Aussie wines from old vineyards. Now, “the arrival of winemaker Paul Gordon has allowed the full potential of those vineyards to be realised” (Halliday). McLaren Vale is famous for its warming, chocolate-rich reds, and this one is no exception. Sip from big glasses on cold winter nights.
