Enjoy the abundant charms of an elegant Hunter Valley Shiraz from one of the region’s oldest and most iconic estates established in 1858. Tyrrell’s is a founding member of Australia’s First Families of Wine, and without doubt, “one of the most successful family wineries” with an extremely impressive range of whites and reds. “Yet another cab off the regional rank at Tyrrell’s, this is indelibly stamped with Hunter structure and savour. Bravo! Firmer than the Old Hut, with plum, tobacco, carnal forest notes and some varnished leather grunt across its tannic cylinders. This is enjoyable now but will be a surprise after some bottle age... 93 points” (Halliday).
