Having consulted for many of the country’s top cellars, he now has his own estate where he makes among other things his Alauado range. For Aluado Branco he combines mostly native Fernão Pires for its light lemony notes and grapey aroma, with a portion of rare-for-Portugal Marsanne for creamy roundness and peach fruit, all sourced from vineyards close to the coast.
