Rob was voted Young Gun of Wine in 2018 and his Aphelion, which won Best Small Producer at the McLaren Vale Wine Show in 2019, now proudly sports a Halliday estate rating of Five Red Stars. “A single vineyard in the White’s Valley subzone of the Vale. Young vines, but uber-low yielding. 3 months on skins with minimal agitation but for the frisk of CO2 as fermentation ensued. 18 months in older French oak. A delicious wine.
