The Sauvignon grapes for this wine were grown on the free draining stony loam soils of the Hope Plains, at Brightwater's nearby Sturkenboom and Chisnall vineyards in sunny Nelson – at the top of New Zealand's South Island. They provide exciting arrays of intense aromas and flavours. Each block was harvested individually at its optimum level of ripeness.
