Notes like cherry pie with additional satsuma plum and blackberry fruits are cut with spice, dark chocolate, purple flowers, chocolate bullets and Barossa earth. Plenty of fruit depth, but there is a lovely freshness to its form with fine tannin, bright acidity and a long, fruit-pure finish. 95pts.”
The original Schild family homestead is located on the historic Narrow Road in Rowland Flat, this vineyard sits at 380 metres above sea level. Vineyards at this altitude are traditionally much lower yielding and produce fruit of the highest quality.
