From winemaker Rory Lane at 5 Red Star-rated The Story Wines, situated in Victoria's Grampians region. “Light colour and a complex, possibly barrel-influenced bouquet that is multi-faceted and charming, at the same time obvious varietal riesling. Mouth-watering acidity and a crisp, intense, dry balance on the palate. Utterly delicious riesling in a more adventurous style. There's a judicious touch of sweetness in the centre, then sherbety acidity completes the balance beautifully. This would be great with a serious chill. 95pts” (Huon Hooke, The Real Review)
