Organic Picpoul from the Central Ranges in NSW, with 94pts & 93pts Excellent Value!
“This intriguing variety continues to impress. This example is from the Central Ranges in New South Wales and made in an organic style. The colour is a shimmering pale yellow, while the nose opens up with aromas of ripe stone fruits, apricot kernels, spices, almonds, sea breeze notes and a hint of beeswax. The wine is balanced, supple and exhibiting very good length with a fine line of acidity. Really impressive, this will drink beautifully over the next two to four years. Excellent value.93pts” (Ken Gargett, WinePilot).
For Sam Kim Wine Orbit, it is: “Pristine and beautifully lifted, the bouquet shows apricot, lemon zest, green rockmelon, and white floral aromas, followed by a lively palate filled with juicy fruit flavours. It's brightly expressed with crisp acidity, finishing long and flavoursome. At its best: now to 2029"
Organically certified Windowrie Estate was established by the O'Dea family in 1987 on a grazing property at Canowindra, 30km north of Cowra.
